marketing is process of identifying customers and “creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging” goods and services for the satisfaction and retention of those consumer.
Marketing can include activities like:

1.Selection of a target audience
2.Selection of certain attributes or themes to emphasize in advertising
3.Operation of advertising campaigns
4.Attendance at trade shows and public events
Design of products and packaging to be more attractive to buyers
5.Selection of the terms of sale, such as price, discounts, warranty, and return policy
Product placement in media or with people believed to influence the buying habits of others
